The Paper Players

The Paper Players challenge is one layer cards. I really like to make them. Initially I found them impossible to make, but I have learned a lot from Heather Telford and just got better over time. 




Practice does help. I really like this card. My husband just shrugged his shoulders - it was too bland for him. But I find it quite expressive. I made it for a friend of mine, who had one of her good friends die and she emailed me today about it. So its kind of a sympathy card.

Materials: waterdrops - Ryn Tanaka stamps, sentiment - Hero Arts Leaf Print Cl395,

I think this card is absolutely stunning! I love the gradation of the focal rectangle and realism of the drops of water.

It's a wonderful thinking of you/sympathy card. :o)

(I used to find one layer cards nigh on impossible as well, but have found they're all I'm making lately.)

You certainly have turned into a OLC pro, Cornelia! That Heather is amazing and such a good teacher! I love your poignant sympathy card very much!! (Thank you for your sweet get well wishes! I'm taking it pretty easy. It hurts more than I thought it would, so no Playhouse cleaning yet!)
