Spring and Winter

Hi Everyone,

I have a Twofer today, as Darnell would call it and two very different cards. The first one I made for the Ellen Hudson Pinsights challenge  - see the mood board below.


I used the Mondo Hydrangea - heat embossed it onto Bristol paper and colored it with a combination of oxide inks and water brush pens. The die cut thanks is by CUTplorations.

Lovely, that mood board, isn't it? I also added Wink of Stella to the hydrangea, but it dos not show well in my pictures.


My second card I made for Merry Mondays. Since Muse Christmas Visions is now monthly I need to play with the "competition" to get my Christmas cards done without too much stress in the end.


The theme is "Kraft". Heat embossed the Hero Arts wreath (CG485) and added tiny pearls and gems. Added the twine. Again the die cuts are from CUTplorations.

What spectacular cards!! LOVE that mondo hydrangea. The colors are STUNNING!! The kraft xmas card is so cool. Love how you added the dark chocolate at the bottom!

The Mondo Hydrangea is Mondo gorgeous. Amazing color scheme and love the loose leaf on the panel. Very artsy.
As far as the Christmas card, I never met a wreath I didn't love as evidenced by my HUGE stamp collection of them. This card is a winner, hands down. Crazy about those touches of red.

Loving both of the 'Twofers'. Fabulous take on the moodboard with your first amazing card. Beautifully coloured, love the pop of vibrant lime and the dimension of the sentiment...perfect x Such a classy second card. Again the dimension of the sentiment die cut sits so perfectly against the kraft, white and red. You are on a roll, so creative and stunning! x

Die Hortensie ist traumhaft schön, so in natura selten, aber auf Deiner Karte perfekt!! Auch Deine Weihnachtskarte ist wieder was ganz Besonderes.

The crisp snowy white wreath against the kraft is fabulous, Cornelia, so pretty with the gems and pearls ... and how gorgeous is that softly coloured hydrangea ... simply lovely! Hugs, Anita :)
